During the busy day life, a cup of warm coffee or tea may be the best moment. The coffee that gradually gets cold after a long meeting might break this precious experience. How to keep our coffee warm has become one of the most important things in the office.
Ripple mug is an electronic smart mug that can keep warm our drink and coffee. Through electronic heating devices and interface apps, it can keep the temperature or warm up immediately in anytime we need. Ripple mug can bring better user experience than a traditional Thermos cup.

BACKGROUND
During the busy day life, a cup of warm coffee or tea may be the best moment. The coffee that gradually get cold after a long meeting might break this precious experience. How to keep our coffee warm become one of the most important thing in the office. I decided to design a electronic mug which can heat up the mug and keep the drink warm.
“How to keep the tea and coffee warm after a long meeting?”
DESIGN PROCESS
In order to convey the feeling of warm up the tea, I decided to bring the pattern of gradient wave. Also, inspired by the Asia tea set, I designed a heating device with saucer and wish it can create a wonderful tea or coffee time for user.

The Ripple interface is a App that supports user to operate the Ripple. It not only can easily use phone to start the warming process but also can set up the heating time and storage the heating record.
